From the past few days ever since i got graduated from a business school with majors in IT and Marketing, i am in the hunt for jobs that suit my skills. I’ve been well involved in stuff like content management systems as well monetizing my websites and directories through the conventional mode of search engine optimization. During the job hunt i realized that even in a country like Pakistan where e-business and e-model of advertising are relevantly quite new as compared to normal business mediums but still i found out that jobs related to SEO were quite alot in number, the relevant experience required was though way more than the demand but than again Search Engine Optimization has been the in-thing for over years now. I remember back in 2004 , SEO and Google PageRank were the most discussed topics throught out the forums and it was than when we saw that website optimization was on the peak.

To elaborate whether is the SEO on the boom again, we managed to link up with an internet marketing company known as KP. KP is very famous among its clients and the internet marketing for their performance and effectiveness. Connecticut based company masters in Search Engine Optimization, keyword placement and all the relevant internet marketing activities and gives its client the seo reports on the basis of which the clients can see the progress their website is making and thus how much positively it is increasing their business and sales. KP’s activities surely explains the SEO is and always was on the boom, one of the staff stated that though in the past one or two years the discussion about SEO saw a major collapse, but SEO company’s never stopped operating and neither will because internet marketing is one of the most important factor that contributes to the  company’s overall performance. KP is doing its job in a top notch manner though and the customers are always satisfied.

SEO never was Off the boom though, but it is in the discussion again!

I am a great fan of ads and bill boards and in the free spare time i often stumble the websites to come across a few interesting ones, but what i saw today was something that I couldn’t help my self laughing when i gave it a look.

You definitely have to secure your life, get yourself insured, get a cheap auto insurance, have a secure health insurance and life insurance before your (soon-to-be-ex) Wife comes up with a billboard for you.

Or are they fond of too much ads that will eat your brains out, you certainly won’t like to watch a movie that plays for 15 minutes and the rest 30 minutes all it runs are rubbish ads of universities, institutes etc. Here at my end though we don’t have much choice since that’s the best they could do for us since they’re not well backed up with a good investment in a medium city so they don’t have much options.

In Pakistan though Wateen Telecom is probably one of the best for its service and uniqueness at the moment providing a phone,WiFi High-Speed Internet and Cable Tv But in the foreign countries when you look out broadly, you’ll find out that there are plenty of such companies that give you  services that now a days we can expect only from the Telecommunication sector companies only. One of them amongst them for instance is Cox Television, the company has a great list of value added services for a consumer like my type who wish to have all in one deal from a same company so that in case of emergency they don’t have to bother several companies, this very company has a great deal of offerings that an average tech-savvy user can benefit from, those Cox services are all in a Cox bundle packages that include a Home Phone, a High Speed Broadband internet and Cable television. So what more do you expect from a single company under one roof and that too at the best prices and deals~

I dunno if its a very hot season for jobs, recruitment and all the relevant yada yada but since its hot let me just pen down the updates at my end, not exactly my end but in the school i happen to be a part of as a lame student studying business with no idea of how to do business.

So since in the last post here i discussed about do online jobs site really help, similarly i put my own interest in the future here and here ,the recent entrepreneurship program that is to start from the end of april this month is a fairly flexible thing and something really as a business opportunity for most of the students and quite related to me (i am not availing it though but…). Under the program the students are to be interviewed in the first phase asking for there ideas about the type of businesses they want themselves to help start with, after the interviews and selection based on the financial background of students, the idea, the type of business and the intellect of students the selected students will be given an office in one of the best business center of city with the most minimum rent without any other security or documentation stuff(since the school took the pain to take care of it). The thing is really gonna be a success on large scale if they do the marketing for this program on a large scale to produce more external students and related people, dunno if they’ll be hiring any Recruitment Advertising Agency or some one like Apollo Advertisers to do the job cos they’re best at it i guess but since it started on a small scale at the moment, enough amount of papers have been pasted over the notice boards all around the campus. Hope its a good success after all we need at least a few great Entrepreneurs from our school.

BTW i don’t have much interest in starting my own business cos i am not just the guy made for it but a couple of friends from Photography really are willing to go ahead in this field so wish them best of luck.
